He was a great advocate when working with the city and kept us informed and educated along the way.Although the permitting process itself took several months (as these things often do), the actual build of the wall was impressively efficient — only a few weeks from start to finish. Our yard required significant excavation because of the clay soil, but the crew handled it with skill and care, working seamlessly with a local engineer to make sure everything was up to code.We couldn’t be happier with the final result. We hired Sam to build a retaining wall. When we first met with Sam, he was very knowledgeable in all facets of the excavation process and Allan block installation. He gave us a quote for what we were looking for and was able to complete all the work in the budget that we gave him. He also went above and beyond with some extra reinforcement material for our wall. It was a smooth process and a pleasure to work with Sam and his wife Natasha. Sam also leveled our front yard, added new soil, removed some old plants from our garden and got us a great deal on new sod to lay down.
