Martin Martinez of Pro Landscape Concepts installed patio pavers in my home’s courtyard. There were immediate issues that occurred after completion, including white blotching on the pavers, cracking of the seams between them and standing water. Martin came back to redo a small section to correct standing water and address the blotching but that didn’t provide a long term solution. The pavers continued to crack at the seams, have white blotches and budged in wide sections creating a wavy appearance (see picture). I had another contractor pull out the pavers and we found that only sand was used under them (see picture), which explains all the settling problems because this is not a correct base. I contacted Martin by text on 9/4/25 and he agreed to make monthly payments to me starting the next week to compensate me for having to redo my entire patio. I didn’t hear from him again until his text on 9/18/25 stating he would have a payment to me by the end of the month. At the time of writing this review 11/5/25, I have received no such payment or communication from him.
Can’t rave about these guys enough! They are always prompt, professional, and do a great job! I’ve used them for sprinkler start up and shut off for the last few years and I’m always so happy with their service. They also dug out and replaced my sprinkler box earlier this year because it had a leak from the original landscapers and did a great job fixing it. The owner Martin is super quick to respond via text. They are my go-to guys!

Martin was easy to work with but the people that he had doing the job had to be constantly monitored and directed. We wanted a section of the fence moved 12 ft in - so this entailed digging new post holes and sectioning of the existing fence and moving it so it would match the rest of the fence and moving three sprinkler heads. I ended up digging the sprinkler heads and lines up as they were supposed to start on Wednesday and didn't get there until Saturday. His guys proceeded to screw it up from the word go. Constantly having to watch and comment, constantly having to call Martin, and then to have to ask that they police the work area for screws so that the dogs wouldn't step on them. Found 20+ screws today and that's just because Martin was here at the end of his crew being on site and I trusted that he would double check their work. Now I have to go out and fix the gate that they installed as the hardware is already falling off.
It was a pleasure to work with Martin. Martin was very knowledgeable, punctual, professional, Aland his prices are great! I gave him a tough project and he finished on time. His crew were very professional, helpful did a great job installing the artificial turf and cleaned up everything. I was very worried about getting artificial turf, but once I saw the end product, I was very happy. I Will recommend Pro Landscape Concepts to my family, friends, and all my coworkers!
