We hired Soares to complete our landscaping after we had a pool, patio and deck installed. They did new levelling, new soil and sod for our entire front and back, built a retaining wall, and solved a significant drainage problem we had in a low spot through re-levelling and building and rock garden there - no more water-pooling and it looks great. As well, some accent garden beds and cleanup of existing beds. 3 things really stood out for us: 1) their attention to detail from the initial consultation through to the end of the project was second-to-none; 2) the crew of Carlos and Mitch were professional and just very nice to work with - btw thanks Carlos for the vegetables from your farm!; and 3) the quality of the finished product was at a very high level. I don’t hesitate to recommend Soares!
We contacted Michael at Soares Landscaping because we wanted our backyard to feel more functional and spacious. After speaking with him, he came to take measurements, ensure our plan was possible, and informed us of any issues that may arise and how we may need to remedy them. My wife and I had Soares Landscaping add a brick walkway/driveway extension and new stone steps to our house in May 2019 and we are very pleased with their work. They were professional and punctual and the workmanship was excellent. They dug down a deep foundation which has held up well in the 12 months since it was done. We have parked a vehicle on it nearly every day since then and there are no signs of sinking bricks or uneven wear. Shoveling and deicing over the winter was easy.Michael was easy to get a hold of and always responded to us when we called him. After agreeing on a plan he followed up with a professional schematic diagram detailing the types of plants and trees with their specific locations on the property.The work was done in a professional and timely fashion and exceeded my expectations.
