Today, Firsthand Lawn & Landscape sent a quality Team to deliver quality services! The tasks I requested were completed timely and efficiently. I have been attempting to locate a solid professional lawn care company for over a year. I have experienced prior ones who never showed up, demanded payments in advance, and the most horrendous one that installed $3000 of the wrong kind of sod and never returned my calls. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time because this is the first and only lawn company that has exceeded my expectations. Upon another company no showing to a clean up and since I have a cardiac issue, it was very difficult to keep up with my lawn especially in the summer. So I went on a search. I originally found them through Thumbtack, but this company was different from the start.I believe the first person I talked to was Ryan. He was patient in my initial call about what I needed: clean up, then, maintenance, and weeding. I also was very transparent about my expectations. Reliability, communication with inclement weather, communication in general, quality each time, etc. I find these to be minimum expectation of a lawn company, but have not had that with other companies.There is a payment/quote customer portal that you can easily see upcoming or adjusted appoints and receipts of payments. Very user friendly and transparent. I had a question one time and asked to call because it was complicated and they said sure, come to find out he was on a vacation. While I don’t ever wish anyone to work over their vacation, I think that exemplifies the commitment to the business and customers FirstHand has.I also appreciate their plan has weekly mows during peak wet season and biweekly mows in the winter season.They will offer quotes, but I appreciate there is follow up without pressure. They saw my fence needed to be pressure washed and provided a quote. I like that they recognized the need, but unfortunately did not have it in my budget at the time and had to say no. There was no pressure or further discussion after me saying no and I appreciate that listen and are transparent and consistent in all the work they do!I am consistently asked for who does my lawn and hear the frustrations from my neighbors about who they have doing their lawns and I share Firsthand’s contact information. I am so thankful I found this company and have no intentions of ever searching for another one!
Firsthand Lawn and Landscape was and has been a great company for handling the landscaping and grass here at my house in Longwood. I have 1.3 acres with lots of trees, bushes and plants and their attention to detail was everything I was looking for. Not just reasonable and comparable pricing but the service was on time, efficient, clean and quiet.
