Work completed: Reconstruction of the access staircase using Permacon concrete blocks (started September 8, 2025, finished September 10, 2025).Impeccable workmanship: perfectly level and uniform steps, clean cuts and regular joints without chipping, a seamless connection with the existing retaining wall/porch, and a flawless interface with the asphalt. The surrounding finishes are meticulous. The visual appearance (hue/color of the stones) is exactly what we wanted. Since our residence is in an area prone to frost heave, the robust design with large blocks (~500 lb) inspires confidence—we are certain of its durability.Respect for deadlines: A slight one-day delay occurred, entirely attributable to the initial block supplier (not Concept VIP). The team immediately shifted into solution mode and redid the entire project using blocks from another supplier. The original blocks remained on site for five days awaiting rework. When the items were retrieved, a gesture of compensation (a bottle of wine) was offered.Communication and service: Main contact Vincent Picard — frank, honest, very available, and proactive; impeccable follow-up. Courteous and respectful staff.Professionalism and attitude: Smiling, polite, and cheerful team from start to finish. Discreet presence, respect for the neighborhood, cleanliness maintained during the work, clear explanations at each stage, and adherence to safety instructions. From planning to completion, we were always incredibly well supported by Vincent and Francis, the owners. Vincent is truly knowledgeable and... very patient ??! We started the design in the summer/fall of 2024 and made quite a few changes, but he was always there to guide us. For example, even though the pool installation wasn't part of the original project, Vincent took care of the placement, a crucial element for properly managing the elevations of the rest of the property.Francis is incredibly kind and always clearly explains why something needs to be done a certain way. They are both generous with their time, passionate, and, above all, trustworthy contractors. This is evident in the finishing touches and the project's delivery.Another point that isn't always considered: the employees are genuinely kind and also very professional. Every morning, when we left or arrived at the house, they greeted us with a smile. And that truly reflects Vincent and Francis's values. It might seem trivial, but it makes a huge difference, especially when you see them in your private space for a few weeks!We're really happy, both with the process (super important!) and the final result.
