Echoing all the other 5-star reviews here. Nathan was extremely personable and responsive throughout the entire process. We had a backyard design already in hand and were looking for someone to come in and bring it to life. We collected a couple bids but knew after our first meeting with Nathan that we were going to move forward with Roo Landscaping if the estimate came back within budget (it obviously was, and was very fairly priced as well). It was apparent during this initial meeting that he was both extremely knowledgeable and experienced with the work that needed to be done. He answered all of our questions and walked through what the process would look like from start to finish if we were to move forward. He was professional but also super casual and easy to talk to which made interactions enjoyable and productive. Project timeline played out just as he described. We ran into a few unforeseen issues with the yard along the way (as to be expected), but he made sure we chatted through solutions together so that we were well informed and comfortable with what needed to happen. He's got a great crew of guys and stopped by multiple times a day to check in and run through everything. He even spent a couple days working with them on the yard which was awesome to see as the client. Seeing him here and so involved showed that he cared about the work being done well, even on a smaller project like ours. It also helped ensure everything was completed super quick! The end result was exactly what we wanted. Our yard looks amazing and I can't stress enough how easy and stress free the whole experience was. He was able to keep the total bill at the same price as his estimate even with some extra work being required which we really appreciated. I would highly recommend Roo Landscaping and will definitely reach out to Nathan again if we ever need work done in the future.
Nathan has been super easy to work with! He's professional and always responsive. He and his crew worked fast and did an excellent job. They had to regrade everything, put in irrigation, concrete walkways and stairs, and lay sod and plantings. Not only did they do an excellent job, but Nathan could not be a nicer guy. One day I got a flat tire on my way to meet him, and he came out to help me change it. Talk about going above and beyond! They made what could have easily been a very stressful process seamless. We would definitely use Roo Landscaping again!

Nathan and his team at Roo landscaping did a fantastic job of turning our outdated and un-loved front and back yard into a true work of beauty. We went in with some ideas and Nathan was able to take those ideas and implement them where possible and to re-direct when unfeasible for the location but give us solid alternatives.Everything from plant choosing, irrigation, care techniques and placement was well thought out and finalized with care and attention.
Nathan Johnson did a great job. Delayed because of weather he took in our design ideas and improved on them significantly. Nathan is personable and enjoyable to deal with. His crew was professional and friendly. And he did it at the contract price. Result is a beautiful low water garden.
