Rob, Rod, and really the entire team were a pleasure to work with. I had them tear up my entire backyard in Millcreek this spring and install a sprinkler system, lay new sod, and transform the hardscaping a bit.Not only did they turn around the bid and the entire project with a tight timeline I requested, but they did so coming in as the most affordable option (by far) from 3 total bids.
We hired Utah Wildflower to xeriscape our front yard and strip. Rod was very professional and accommodating with 5 star customer service throughout the entire process. He was quick to answer calls and was amenable to our plans changing. Even after completion of the project, Rod is still open to answering my calls about the automated drip irrigation system and ensures everything is working properly. He cares about you. Compared to other xeriscape landscapers in the area, his prices were more competitive and fair. He set us up with a designer who provided an incredible 3D rendering with our plans. His crew was top notch. Aramando is the man. They were all very friendly, and fast/efficient to finish the work promptly. The quality of the work was excellent. The drip irrigation system is super high tech and high quality.Utah Wildflower transformed our yard from an embarrassing, sad, weedy, dying grassland to a colorful native plant haven paradise teeming with life. We can now come home happily to our family of plants and frequently get compliments. We're planning to do our backyard as well and would happily work with Utah Wildflower in the future.
Rodrigo and his team at Utah Wildflower are truly exceptional. We required ‘ground-up’ landscaping and irrigation for a 0.3 acre property with a newly constructed home. We wanted primarily a water-wise property with bird/bee/friendly plants, planters, retaining walls, stairs and pathways, and a strip of turf for the kids to run around on. Our house construction had gone way over budget and so we weren’t sure we would be able to afford landscaping at all this year. We had meetings with multiple teams and received multiple bids. I was impressed with Rodrigo, as he seemed most knowledge about local, water-wise plants; approachable and friendly; and had great ideas for the property; and so I was doubly excited when their bid came in the lowest by a substantial margin. It turned out to be just an incredible value. Having just built a home, we have worked with dozens of construction teams over the past two years – many were great, many were frustrating, but Rod’s team was hands down the most delightful to work with, as they brought the rare mix of high-quality work, high efficiency, and courteous and professional behavior. To get in just a few examples. First, the team was extremely efficient. They estimated a month to complete the work and it took three weeks. Second, the work is high quality, and they stand by it. The planter boxes are excellent craftsmanship, the patio and pathway exactly what we had hoped. The irrigation system working without a hitch. Of the over 300 plants/trees that were planted, most have taken beautifully. I’ve found only three that did not take, and Rod has offered to replace them in the spring. Third, they are incredibly accommodating, careful and professional. We wanted to wait on the landscaping until the home build was complete, and build completion creeped over expectations, week by week, to ultimately 5 months past the expected completion date. Rod’s team were so accommodating, working around the unexpected, ready to start once we were, and honoring the original quote and contract, despite the significant delay on our end. The team always left the site clean. In one case, my wife had mentioned to the crew that we were having people over on the weekend, just to request they not work Saturday evening – come Friday afternoon, they had picked up and cleaned the site entirely, of their own accord without being asked, to accommodate our party. Finally, as mentioned, they stand by their work – since the job has finished, Rod has already come by to check in on us, and requested to do so again in the spring. The ultimate product is beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Even though this was a late summer/fall job, we’ve already seen droves of birds and bees coming to the plants and property. In short, this team is knowledgeable about waterwise and local plants, conducts excellent and efficient work, are professional and accommodating, are reliable, and for our project, were also the most affordable.(excuse the ghoulish photos – just put up our Halloween decorations – don’t worry, the bones and gravestones aren’t part of their work ?? )
This is a top tier outfit. I cannot recommend the team at Utah Wildflower highly enough!Working with Rod on the bid and planning process was incredibly easy. He is knowledgeable and knows exactly how a large project will come together. We also had a particularly difficult yard to navigate with limited entry points and his creativity to accomplish the goal was sensational. The work itself was conducted with above board professionalism with strong communication and clarity of the work being done. No corners were cut and each step of the work was meticulously cared for. Our final product is a dream yard that we literally couldn’t even envision 3 weeks ago.An incredibly fair price, great work ethic, and superior product delivery. If you want a xeriscaped yard that meets the need of the Utah harsh climates, look no further than Utah Wildflower!
We first talked to Rod from Utah Wildflower Company a year ago. We took our time making a decision to use them for our landscaping project. Rod never pressured us and answered numerous questions during our decision making process. Once we decided to move ahead, it took longer than we expected to get the landscape design, but after we received the first draft, they were willing to make changes until we were happy with it. They even worked with us until the project was within our budget. Installation was planned for late September, but when the weather suddenly turned cold, they were willing to wait until Spring to begin. We were very happy with the installation and their professionalism. Robbie was frequently onsite to oversee the project and make sure we were happy. Even after the installation was completed, they were willing to come back and make some changes so we would qualify for the rebate. I recommend them without hesitation!
