I’m please to provide a review for Michael and his company Pacifica Landscape Works Inc. I’ve seen his beautiful work in person and actually spent and evening enjoying one of his roof top patio that he designed and built. It was a stunning space with outdoor bar featuring unique counter lighting, raised deck with custom fire feature, outdoor art installation, and a stunning view, all surrounded with lush plantings, and soft landscape lighting. I highly recommend Michael and his team at Pacifica Landscape Works!
We hired Michael to design our "dream" backyard. Our current backyard is essentially "builder grade", which is neither functional, nor visually appealing. Michael was great to work with to get our ideas into a formal design. We have worked with many designers and contractors over the years and one thing that sets people like Michael apart - he is always open to feedback. If you don't like something in the preliminary design, he does not take it personally or get defensive - he truly wants to make your vision a reality. Many designers and contractors are not like this and it's a great quality of his. He is also highly creative and able to utilize the entire space you have to incorporate your wish list. I would recommend Michael to anyone looking for a premium landscape designer.
I hired Michael through a recommendation from a smaller landscape company I used for some remedial work. Michael and I met and went over my backyard which was in need of a total redo. My Backyard was one big canvas that sloped 12 feet north to south. I gave Michael reign and after a couple of tweaks, we had the perfect design. My backyard Included three tiers, Curves, palm trees, deciduous trees, lighting and both annuals and perennials throughout. “Luckily”, the time was when Covid was rampant so we had lots of time to work on the backyard. He was there for every review and was very accessible and open to mine and my wife’s ideas and thoughts. At the end of the day, Michael was fair, properly priced, and a joy to work with. As a commercial contractor myself, the residential part was out of my realm so I left it all to Michael and to mine and everyones satisfaction The final product was amazing.I would recommend Michael for any backyard undertaking.

We had our backyard re-imagined with the help of Michael. He helped design a breathtaking oasis zen space for me and my family. He was patient in understanding our specific vision and understood the details that were needed to get the result we wanted. After Michael developed the blueprint of our vision from our discussions, we were able to go back and forth with Michael and the installation team to ensure all the details were ironed out at the specs level. We kept Michael on board as a project manager during the installation phase because it's important to ensure your vision is being executed properly. We continued to collaborate until the very end and we are now in heaven every time we step outside and can sit out there for hours and time has no meaning in our oasis. We are so blessed to have come across Michael as he helped bring a piece of heaven into our lives :)
