Could not be more disappointed with my experience dealing with Precision Landscaping. First reached out in Jan 2024 after some research on reputable landscaping companies, on site meeting took place in Feb 2024 and everything seemed fine to build an external gazebo. Deposit was made and the project manager disappeared, took about 5 months for them to sort out the situation and have been bouncing between different correspondence ever since. Very very rarely would my calls or messages be responded to, chasing for answers constantly. Was told my application has been filed, I had paid the City for the fees associated, signed paperworks they asked for, and now haven't had any status update, follow up for OVER A YEAR. I could name the individuals associated, also have digital trail for unanswered emails, texts, calls, contracts. Hard to believe this is a legitimate business and the positive reviews don't seem real at all after nearly 2 years of misleading and false hope to get things done.

We are deeply disappointed by our hot tub purchase experience with Precision Landscaping in November 2024.

We ordered the Huron model in grey (and cover/stairs in grey) and were delivered a brown hot tub (with grey stairs/cover) in error. We spoke with the representative on the day of delivery identifying the error. He told us that the Huron only comes in one colour, brown. We ordered a grey hot tub, the colour grey was indicated on the order form, and at no time were we told by the representative that the model selected didn't come in grey.

We wanted to return the brown hot tub immediately and offered to buy the more expensive Huron LE that came in the correct grey colour. According to the representative this was not an option. We spoke to and messaged the representative; promises were made but nothing was done. In the most recent message, the representative told us to stop contacting him.

It has been 10 months, and we've been waiting to write this review, hoping this issue could be resolved fairly. We have no complaints about the quality of the hot tub but feel that the representative mislead us when ordering and in the follow-up discussions once the incorrect hot tub was delivered. I would not purchase a hot tub from Precision Landscaping again and am concerned about future customer service interactions.

Steve and his team was brought to us through our contractor referral to work on the deck. The process is precessional and his trades are hard working people with good quality. I appreciate the fact that Steve is willing to step in the gap when construction goes sideways here and there. They are certainly not the most affordable company, but they do have very good people. Special shout out to Val, his railing guy. Very nice guy and communicative. He has great attention to details and willing to explain the process and assures good work is done the right way. He came multiple trips due to many delays but installed my railing with great care! Thank you! Overall I’m happy!

Steve and his team are the real deal. They redid our entire backyard (landscaping, pool, lighting) and did a spectacular job. The team is immensely professional, great at what they do and honest. We had some minor issues the following season (one year later) and Steve fully honoured the warranty - came back and fixed all the minor issues and did so prompty. I could not be more grateful to the team at Precision and would recommend them to anyone.

Alex L. and his team did an amazing job for our front yard. They worked through the very long process with the city to get feedback about hard vs. soft landscaping requirements. Once we heard back from the city, unfortunately prices went up in the whole industry, but that’s just Covid times.

Alex collaborated well with us to take our thoughts and ideas into considerations and to create a good plan. Sometimes he was overwhelmed by too many other projects in parallel, so we had to do some recap and reminding at occasion. Once planning was finalized the execution of the work progressed well with their different sub-contracted and on-staff teams, even during the current typical material supply chain challenges.

A few times during planning and execution we had to remind them about attention to detail and “precision”, but they always accommodated very well, even with some free rework; and I am a very picky homeowner ;-)

Thanks a lot folks. We are very happy with the results and many neighbours have asked about it and who made it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Typical projects include interlocking driveways and walkways, stone patios, steps, retaining walls, and garden installations. The team can also incorporate lighting, grading, and drainage details to complete the space.

It usually starts with a site visit to discuss goals, measure, and review material options. After that, you’ll receive a scope outline and cost estimate, with any design drawings confirmed before scheduling.

Interlocking concrete pavers and quality natural stone are common due to freeze–thaw durability. Base preparation, proper edging, and drainage are key to long-term performance.

Smaller interlock or garden projects can be completed in a few days, while larger backyard builds may take several weeks. Timelines depend on scope, material lead times, and weather.

Basic guidance is provided for caring for new plantings and hardscapes. If maintenance services are needed, discuss options during the estimate so a suitable plan can be arranged.
