Turk Landscape Design have been our "go to " company since 2017. Catherine and Marty redesigned our backyard and made it into an easy to manage garden paradise.. Large cedar boxes became the cutting beds , aggregate pathways and river rock with colourful perennials added interest and a deck we like to call the dock has become one of our favourite sitting places . In 2021 , we called on Catherine and Marty to do their magic on our front yard. Tired of mowing grass and letting it go brown in the summer , Catherine came up with a landscape design that changed the whole look of the property. The front part of the garden is perpetually green and nepeta creates a sea of blue around a charming water feature that attracts all sorts of birds. Redesigned pathways and stone brick driveway gave the house a much more elegant look. This past spring , we had Turk create a circular stone patio which functions as a solid, level pad for an above ground pool in the summer and a fire pit for the cooler months. Catherine and Marty have great expertise and vision and are a pleasure to work with.
We had a large, challenging project incorporating a number of technical elements (stone wall, drainage) along with a need for leadership around the overall design (plant/shrub/tree selection and placement etc). Marty and Katherine were heavily involved all the way through, providing great suggestions and ultimately delivering a final product we were delighted with. Definitely recommend!

We had a great landscape experience with Marty and Catherine. They are both very enthusiastic about their speciality. We had some very difficult approachment problems to overcome in order to have the material delivered by crane over top of the house. The result with their stone mason was spectacular.The pictures just show one aspect. The slate steps blend in with the existing cliff. And the metal handrails had to be custom fitted. The project ends up at a slate patio at the top.The old wooden deck surface was replaced with a newer plastic interlock. Non-slick and long lasting. Great for Victoria rain.We are looking forward to the next stage of earth and plant delivery to the backyard.
